Reading Buddy
One-on-one virtual reading sessions with K-5th grade students
Responsibilities:
- • Conduct weekly 30-minute virtual reading sessions
- • Help students select age-appropriate books
- • Provide encouragement and reading support
- • Track student progress and engagement
Requirements:
- • Minimum 6-month commitment
- • Reliable internet connection
- • Background check required
- • Complete training program
Event Volunteer
Support book festivals and community outreach events
Responsibilities:
- • Help set up and manage book distribution events
- • Assist families in selecting appropriate books
- • Support festival activities and workshops
- • Help with event logistics and coordination
Requirements:
- • Flexible availability for weekend events
- • Enthusiasm for community engagement
- • Ability to lift and move books
- • Bilingual skills preferred but not required
